this game is really well made its a little short but the atmosphere and the graphics along with the camera and the monsters make for a great feel that really makes you feel uneasy it is rather short but it is still a fun experience worth checking out if you want to see my full playthrough here it is

I totally forgot what the battery reload button was because of how strange tab + R is but that's my fault for being too spooked to pay attention early on lol
Thanks for playing means a lot, I wanted the reload function to be slightly more than pressing a button to make the feel of the buttons slightly outdated as the technology was back then and so that there's no way you accidentally reload
I figured there was a good reason for it, and I definitely have run into that issue where I accidentally reload batteries in games. Maybe showing the controls on the pause screen or before you're in the game?
The tags are what show up when you enter the tags in the search bar and horror is a tag you can put on the game, but the label of the game there isn't an option to put Horror, theres Adventure action etc, but if you go to any other horror games youll see the label cannot be horror because its not availiable
This was really cool! I got strong Outlast vibes from this. The camera mechanic was a nice touch. I wish it were a bit longer, but I was not disappointed either way! Great work!
you really capture the essence of holding a camera well in the game the way the enviroment move was just like it would with cameras from back then. I see this is your first attempt at this type of game I really hope you keep it up.
The game's interesting and the "find the stalker" was a nice touch as well. Though the game screen kinda froze on me when I failed to find the stalker.

Pretty cool demo so far. It definitely has a creepy vibe to it. Hopefully you'll add more to it one day because I think it has potential to be pretty good. Nice job!
Intriguing... I enjoyed playing the game, although it give out some creepy vibes, overall the game needs more work, especially the ending. The antagonist mechanic is surely the best thing for these type of indie games and quite frankly I haven't seen anything like that in recent horror games, when you have to stare for some time and it disappears, kind of opposite of "Slender Man", I liked that. Overall, fantastic, great job dev.

I am very eager to see the continuation of the story. You should make it a full playable game, lot's of people enjoyed it and will. Just a little suggestion, maybe rename the game tittle's year to something more close, meaning, the personal camera's did not have night vision or they were not hand held like modern 1980s or 1990s cameras, it's just makes a game little unrealistic, that's just a suggestion. Good Luck again with the game.

why does itch have this game label as a visual novel?
there is no Horror label... pretty odd
it is under horror yes but it is certainly not a visual novel which is weird they have the game label that way

yes but it appears that there are also subcategories within itch as well. like horror visual novel, horror shooter, and so forth.
Yes theres I guess tags and theres the genre, I was super confused as to why there is no horror genre

dark confusing gave me a headache trying to see things through the VHS recorder style you had going on in the game
